RT TRAINING

ATC-Communication is specialised in RadioTelephony training (RT). We are a Registered Training Facility RT NL-RTF-301/1. The RT training will lead to the RT endorsement on the Flight Crew License and is also used for other non flying aviation staff.

The training is ICAO, EASA and ILenT compliant.

After completing the practical RT training you are able to use the standard RT in every situation during a VFR- or IFR flight. We also conduct the RT exams and provided the training since 2003 to hundreds of pilots and other aviation staff like, dispatchers, handlers and airport staff.

There are 3 options for the VFR RT course:

1. Live e-learning
2. Hybride e-learning
3. Traditional classroom

1. After downloading the communication tool, you are ready to take part in the Live e-learning course and communicate with other students and the instructor. After logging in to the classroom you will se a (mode-s) transponder and a (8.33/ 25kHz) radio (see picture below). Operate these devices during the course and the instructor can read out the settings on his screen. You are now ready to take part in a professional RT course without leaving your office or home. You only need an internet connected computer with a microphone and headset. You will receive a digital lesson book and after a theoretical introduction we will practice virtual flights using the RT communication. The
course is ICAO compliant and takes 6 lessons of 2 1/2 hours.

2. For the Hybride e-learning course, the difference is that you login and get access to the digital learning platform. Now you have access to the explanation video' s of each chapter and after completing a progress test you are ready to take part in the 6 scheduled online live sessions of 1 1/2 hours each.

For the IFR RT training we currently only have the Live e-learning version available.

3. Traditional classroom. Its also possible to follow a traditional classroom based training at any location. Check for the possibilities.
